The dome light on my taurus is staying on all the time. I suspect a faulty door switch, is there a way to find out which door is causing the problem and is it an easy job to change the switch?
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to get some lubricant like WD-40 or similiar. Spray the door lock latches and open and close the doors. The fronts are usually the offenders. Spray and work them a handful of times and it will very likey solve your problem. Seen this a million times. Okay I exaggerated. Slightly less than a million times.

I have one, too. Exactly like they said. Wd-40 does wonders. I spray my doors with every oil change and keep a can in the trunk just in case. It was very annoying for a while before I figured it out though. Happy trails
