Flooding over, wont shift

I have two Fords one is a 1995 Ford Areostar awd4wd XLT the engine light has been off and on since I own it the airbag light flashes, but that not the only thing

I have had the van in the shop twice ina month period for the saem thing, firs the garage put fuel filter on it fixed the problem for while, now its doing it again it wont idel an dwhenit does idel it not for long it seems to flood over and cannot get full throttle it hard to pull ou ton the road when it, we have tried eveerything no clue whats going on we were toldit might be the fuel pump if it was the fuel pump it wouldnt start at all right,

another thisng I have another Ford I have 1993 Ford Taurus GL, v-6 the transmission when cool shifts fine then there is times it sticks in passing gear and wont kick back out, is tere some definately wrong here or isit simple, it doesnt do itall the time, but whenit does we are usually in rush hour trafffic or outta of town whenit does do it, cnayou help me with both vehiclwes we need both of htem to go to work, if they dont run we dont work,

First the van yes a weak fuel pump will give you these symtoms. But you said there are codes? Go to autozone and get the read. Post them here and we can pipoint the trouble. Have a pressure test done on the fuel system.

Taurus. Need more info how many miles and ever change traany fluid? What color is the fluid?
