I have a 97 Ford Taurus 3.0 v6 131,000 miles. The alternator is not thowing out any voltage. I have tried 3 different alternators and they all check out fine at the parts store.

How are you checking the voltage?
There may be fuses and fusable links involved.
Check the fuses in the power distribution box.
There are fusable links in the wiring between the starter relay and the alternator. They may be hard to find so ohm out the wiring.
Check for good connections to the starter relay

Let us know what happens.

Good luck.

It is hard to tell where you are checking for voltage. I am attaching a typical charging system for a Ford. This diagram is from a 93 explorer. But I believe they are similar.
If this helps, that is good. If you need more help, tell me what voltages you get from each terminal to ground and we will go from there.
