There are no trouble lights on, but my car dies while driving it. It immediately starts back up - no need to wait, no cranking or trouble with the starter itself. The radio etc remain on - indicating no probable trouble with the battery either. I have made an appt with the local Firestone for Monday for a diagnostic - just want some sort of an idea of what's going on to see if I have to beg, borrow or steal finances for the repair.
Thanks!

Hello,

Ok, have you notice if the engine light has come on just before the car dies?

If it is an intermitant problem it in most cases will not turn engine light on. I would recommend going by your local parts store and ask them to put there scanner on it and see if there are any pending codes.

If there are pending code write them down and post for more info.

Another possibility is the fuel filter. When was it last changed?
