2005 Ford Taurus Engine RPMs drop off and engine dies

You can be driving along fine when the RPM's drop, engine stalls and dies. ( No engine light ) comes on. You restart the car and the engine runs fine. Only to have it repeat itself a day later? Any ideas on a solution?

I have, what would seem to be, the exact same problem. It's a shame I have no idea what the answer is. :-( I did some Internet investigation, and a problem with the torque converter (tcc) or torque converter solenoid seems to be a possibility. But I'm not a mechanic and that's just a guess.
