Start with a tune up and fuel injection service. If the check engine light is on,have the PCM (computer) scanned for codes? Autozone will do it for free. If the PCM sees a problem it will store a code that will help in diagnosing the problem.

We've done all that. The check engine and low coolant light are both on. The coolant isn't low and we had it checked at auto zone it came up as the egr valve we replaced that. and we have added fuel injector cleaner.

Are we talking an engine miss or the idle just drops off. It might be the Idle Air Conmtrol Valve slow to respond or sticky
