Electrical problem
1997 Ford Taurus Automatic

I went to leave for work car starts up fine. When I went to reverse it won't go into gear. Now if I start it in neutral I can shift gears but as soon as I put it in park it won't move? That is just the beginning. It seems to be electrical because all of my accessories are not working. Electric windows, radio, windshield wipers, trunk won't open, brake lights won't come on? We have tried replacing the GEM module and ignition switch please help

I would start by checking the fuses
check brake light switch
use a test light or volt meter check for power at the brake light switch
good luck
