My daughter has a 1993 Ford Taurus. She had a problem with the brake lights not coming on and the car not going into gear. I replaced the brake light switch and the pigtail to the switch. All seemed well for a couple of months and now the same thing is happening. I replaced the switch again but this time it didn't make a difference. She still has no brake lights and cannot put the car in gear unless she starts in neutral first. Any ideas on what I can check next?

Hi;

I did borrow a test light and checked for power. All is good there. I pulled all fuses and checked those too. I am at my wits end with this!
