I just bought this ford taurus. The back end running lights work, but the brake lights don't work and the turn signals don't work. I checked and replaced the rear bulbs, no help, I checked all the fuses. Still don't work, what could my problem be?

Could be the turn signal switch. Could also be a harness connector has come disconnected.

Check for voltage at the turn signal switch. You can access this by removing the cover from the steering column. With the switch in the left turn position, you should have voltage at the light green wire with an orange stripe. In the right turn position, you should have voltage on the orange wire with the light blue stripe. If voltage is present, the switch is OK. If no voltage, replace the switch.

If the switch is OK, check the connectorC214 up under the dash near the base of the steering column.

If this is OK, trace the harness back through the car until you find the break in the harness.

This is not a terribly technical or complex job, just time consuming, and worth the results.

Good luck!
