1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 130, 00 miles

Today my 95 Ford Taurus started bucking and running rough, Everytime I came to a stop light, it would die and I would have to start it up again. Now when I start it up it dies immediately unless I lay on the gas. Can't start slow without it dying.
There was no warning or problems prior. It started doing this after a friend added water and filled it up with a full tank of gas. Can you give me a clue what the cause may be? Thanks!

If I read you correctly, it starts as long as you have your foot on the gas, correct? If this is true, it sounds like the IAC valve (idle air control). It's a silverish solenoid on top or side of the intake near where the throttle cable connects to the throttle body. If you tap on it, it may come unstuck but it will still have to be replaced. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Since it did it after the vehicle was filled up, I would like you to check the vapor hoses on the gas tank and the purge valve,

check into flexy comment as that is a high possiblity also, hes a smart one.
