When craking car have to wait on fuel pump to pick up before cranking. Basically my problem is if I have to hit my brakes suddenly the cars stalls. I can hit the brakes and wait till the car goes to idle down and then let off the brakes until it "idles up a little" then apply the brakes again and it will not stall. If I have to hit the brakes to make a sharp turn or quick stop it will stall everytime. What can it be?

What I need you to do is check the power brake booster. Something tells me there is a vacuum leak at the booster or the vacuum hose to it. Check that out and let me know what you find.
