2001 Ford Ranger Clutch System

I have replaced the entire clutch system, pilot bearing, flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate, slave cylinder w/bearing, master cylinder. I bled the system for two days thinking there was air in the system still because I cannot get it to go into any gear.
The pedal feels soft for about 3/4 of the way then gets really stiff and stops. The car does shift through all gears when car is off. The car will also start in first gear with the pedal NOT depressed and it will not jump forward. When I bleed the system I do not see any air coming down my bleeder hose. I have tried many ways to bleed. Although everyone keeps telling me there is still air I am beginning to think something else is wrong. What could it be. Everything is new. Note: when the pedal is pressed I can see the slave move forward onto the pressure plate fingers. I just don't think it's depressing enough.

Hi there,

You may need to get an air pressure bleeder, some systems just wont bleed out with conventional bleeding, an air pressure bleeder draws fluid from the bottom rather than you pumping from the master Cly.

I tried to use a vacum to suck the fluid from the bleeder on the slave. Still no pressure. It's odd, My pedal is very loose until it gets to the bottom then it gets kinda stiff. But I do see the slave moving forward in the tranny and pressing the pressure plate fingers in, but it just doesn't see to move the far enough to disengage. I pulled the master cylinder off (which is new) and bench bled it again. Still nothing. I feel like I have exhausted everything I can think of and I cannot get it. Any other suggestions?
