I have a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT with 126K miles. I drove the truck all day and when I parked it in my driveway and put it in park the engine sputtered out and I cannot get it restarted. The truck gave me no warning ang no engine trouble lights came on. What could cause this?

It sounds like the fuel pump has gone bad. Have you checked for fuel pressure?

Cost me $602.00 for a new fuel pump to be installed at the repair shop. When I got my ranger back drove to work at the end of day got in my truck started it then it stalled and wouldnt start again. It just turn over again did I get ripped off.
