How do you change the heater core in the my 1996 Ford Ranger?

Removal & Installation 1.Allow the engine to cool. place a drain pan beneath the radiator. Open drain valve and allow engine and radiator to fully drain. Disconnect heater hoses from heater core tubes. Cap hoses. In the passenger compartment, remove the instrument panel. 2.Remove the A/C evaporator case. Remove five nuts from studs located in the engine compartment at the dash panel. Pull the heater air plenum chamber rearward from the dash panel, and remove it from the vehicle. Remove heater core from heater air plenum chamber. To install, reverse removal procedure.
