A repair shop put a rebuilt compresser and receiver in and the air is not cold enough. I took it back in and they said the rebuilt compressor they put in had a bad clutch. A "new" rebuilt compressor was put in and STILL it is not near enough cold.

Ok first off is you truck naturally R12 or R134 freon it will tell you on the sticker for the ac capasity under the hood near the heater box or on the radiator core support. Now if you would put a thermometer in the most center vent and tell me what temp comes out. Now I would like to know what type of shop did you take it to? Did you take it to a shop that does A/C or a home mechanic? I am looking to find out if the system was evacuated before being recharged after the repairs where done. Let me know what you can.
