I have a 2002 Ford Mustang 3.8 ltr V6. I have removed the bad alternator and need to install a new one that I have purchased. How do I do this? Mainly, getting the belt back on properly.

You should have a diagram called serpentine belt routing! Under the hood...

It's just the opposite of how you took the bad one off. Bolt it in, reconnect the wires you took off, then feed the belt like merlin said according to the diagram that's either on the underside of your hood or on the radiator support towards the front of the engine.
