My 2000 mustang GT doesnt want to shift right. (auto) It will not shift from 2-3 until I let of the accelerator. If I floor it and go at 70 mph it bounced off of the rev limiter. It drives fine at slow speeds but sometimes bounces backandfourth between gears. It did stop for a day but now is back again. I did a fluid/filter change...no help.

Hi:
Has the check engine light come on? If not, I recommend having the shift solenoids checked. They are mounted to the valve body in the trans, and they control when the trans shifts based on the computer.

Let me know what you find.

No check engine light has come on. It is an intermittent problem. Will look into the shift solenoids if I can.
