OK here is the problem. The car starts fine 99% of the time then out of no where it will not start. It turns over OK but no start. 15 minutes later I GO BACK TO THE CAR AND IT WILL START. I brought the car to a garage and there were no error codes. The mechanic kept the car for a week used it and it started every time. The mechanic recommend changing the fuel pump which I did to the tume of $563. took the car home parked it went out 15 minutes later and again it would not start. any sugestions what I should look for next.

Need to test for spark and fuel pressure when it wont start to see what is actually missing. Did he replace the fuel pump relay as well?A sticky relay can do what you describe, but to be sure you need to do the basic tests
