Electrical problem
1999 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Sometimes when I go to start my car it wil make one click and wont even turn over. Then after waiting a while sometimes days it will start without me even trying to charge the battery. Have any ideas what could be the problem? I have cleaned the battery terminals and all the lights work on the inside. Another question is sometime the car wont start due to the Anti theft system. How can I fix this?

Ok lets take one problem at a time. First the starting issue. I will need you to check a few things with a digital multi meter. First see how much voltage is at the starter relay at the light green wire with the violet stripe. If that is good then check for voltage at the white wire with the pink stripe at the starter. If that is good then check for power at the white wire with the pink stripe at the starter relay. Let know what you find. You do need to check this when it won't start ok. Thanks.
