i have a 86 mustang gt and all at once the wiper motor went to running all the time wile key is in the on position and while it is running I un pluged the wiper switch at the steering collom what is this problem how can I fix it

Ok here is a test that you will need to do. You will need a digital multi meter for this test ok. First unplug the 4 pin connector at the wiper motor under the hood ok. Now turn the key on engine off and check for voltage at the white wire and the black wire with the pink stripe and the red wire. If all three have voltage then I need you to make a jumper wire and gound the case body of the wiper motor and plug it back in and see if that makes them park. If it does then the motor is bad. If it doesn't then we need to do some other tests. Get back to me with what you find and we will go from there.
