My Mustang, over the last couple of days has been overheating...kinda sporadically (heat gauge will go up and down throughout driving), it's losing antifreeze but not leaking, but sometimes while driving the sweet smell of antifreeze comes into the car and the windows will steam for a minute, it will heat up quickly, then gauge will return to normal. We changed the thermostat, but still having same problem. Need help!!

steam up ur window means something wrong with heater core in dash.might wanna do a radiator flush posibly has to much dirt in there and dont let water run freely.check to see if u dont have any water in the oil mix ,remove oil cap and check under it for a muddy rusty choclately color means bad head gasket.also check on dip stick.also check if fans r working .just turn on motor then put the ac on high and fans should start if they r good.just few things u should check.good luck
