The diver side window works fine. So I bought a new window motor still no roll down but I noticed when I took the window motor out it would roll up but nothing happens when try to roll it down, I also replaced the switches. PLZ Help!

I saw a ground wire when I took off the door panel right in the center of it and I sanded the surface and cut off some wire to make it fresh and replaced it still nothing. Is the ground wire your talking about going into the cab from the panel? And if so where might you thing it would be grounded to? I looked at the wireing diagram but I cant trace the wire

The black wire should be grounded inside the driver door
black wires should be ground,
right window control switch
has 5 wires
PINK battery power
yel/blk feed from master switch check this wire if shorted (use an ohm meter and check it between the two switches )

red/blk feed from master switch check this wire if shorted (use an ohm meter and check it between the two switches)
yel/red feed to the motor
red /yel feed to the motor

most common place for a wire to brake is in the door jam
check the wiring harness it runs from car frame into the door
usually it is insulated with black rubber boot
good luck
let me know
