1990 Ford Mustang dies out while driving

When I drive my car it dies while im driving it and it wont start for a day or so whats wrong with it?

Chances are the fuel pump or filter are bad. Have you checked fuel pump pressure? When it doesn't start, have you checked for spark and fuel? Will it start with starting fluid?

Let me know. Also, has the check engine light come on?
