i have had on-going problems with my A/C. the dealer finally said that i have a bad condensor and that it needs to be replaced along with some O-rings.
the estimate from them was $740.....how hard is this to replace or can the condensor be repaired?? i am not too knowledgeable in the car repair field. the A/C system was pressurized, filled with freon and dye and tested in sept. of 2007. It was working ok for the last few months until recently, It is now just blowing outside temperature air.

Thanks for your reply!!

The condenser is really easy to replace, Get the lines vacuumed , remove the lines connected to the condenser, then get under the car and push up and slide the condenser towards the passenger side. The only thing holding it in place are the 2 brackets on the bottom, You will see them once under the car. Once it is freed from these brackets just let it drop down. I just did this last nite, The stupid haynes manual has no info on removing the condenser so I was using the radiator removal guide assuming once that was out the condenser would follow suit.I did a LOT of unnecessary work. Its really only a 5 minute job.
