My truck will start just fine for about a dozen tries. Then without warning it will just crank and crank. I wait a little while or try several times more and it fires right up and doesn't skip a beat. Lately it has started to die while I'm driving. I pull to the side and it usually fires right up again and runs perfect. Help!

Best thing to do is wait for it to not start and check for spark at all cylinders with a spark plug tester then check the fuel pressure.

There are a bit of things that can cause a problem like this, and some are fuel related, some ignition so the best thing to do is wait and check as I suggested.

It sounds like a fuel pump problem. If it happens again try beating on the fuel tank with your fist and see if it will start. If it does than thats your problem.
