Where is the speedometer speed sensor located

I have a 1996 ford f150 4.9l 6 cyl with 5 speed manual trans. It has 161223 miles. I would like to know where the speedometer speed senor is located. It does not have a cable. It seems to be elctronic. Any help would be wonderful thanks

Most likely bad (or wrong) radiator cap.

Tried serveral non vented caps, both 13 and 16 lb. Rated.

Does it have a new thermostat? Test it by throwing it in a pot of boiling water and see if it opens. If not get a new one. It might be sticking.

Replaced water pump & all is good. I was losing the system vaccum by the way of a small leak at the pump
