I replaced the speed sensor (rear differential) on my 95 Ford F150 5.0 l. 200,000 k. The speedometer now works but is very jumpy. Is there any way to correct this? Prior to the sensor failing the speedometer worked fine and was stable at all speeds.

Hi, Your problem maybe your speedometer gear on your speed sensor. It maybe chewed up. Try replacing it and see waht happens. If it does it again then you may need to go back to your original speedo gear (stock). If you have a speedo cable, check to see if its binding or if the actual cable is broken inside.
