Hello !!

well, Start cleaning the terminals and battery connectors You don't need anything fancy to take the corrosion off of your battery terminals, any soda or even hot water will do the job nicely.

Then check your belt for proper tension and be sure that its in good shape.

About your alternator, There are different ways to determine if the alternator in your car is failing, though some of them can be unsafe. The best option is to visit an auto parts store and ask if they can test your alternator; most places will do this for free, just remove it and they have the device to bench test it.

Unless you are familiar with a tester and have some mechanic background, if that its the case I can Guide you to test it, let us Know!

Good Luck!
