1992 Ford F-150 battery panel light stays on

New altanator installed, new bAttery put in, and new starter. My drive down the block to store, and come back home, panel dims, and can't start back up.

What kind of alternator do you have ?
with internal or external voltage regulator?

check wiring and fuses
