Engine Performance problem
2002 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive

I have a 2002 Ford F-150 with 106k miles that has a very rough idle. The check engine light came on about 2000 miles ago but the truck has been running perfectly so I didn't do anything about it. Now it has a very rough idle and makes a rattling sound when accelerating. The rough idle shakes the truck it is so bad. Then sometimes it will catch and the idle will rev high then go back down again. Is this an O2 Sensor issue or do I have bigger problems?

I went and had the computer read and here are the codes that came up:

P0171
P0174
P0405

I went ahead and bought a MAF sensor because it looks like that is probably the problem but I haven't put it in yet. What do you think?

Thanks a lot,
Jason

So should I scrap the Mass Air Flo sensor and just do the O2 sensors and EGR valve? Thanks a lot for your help.
