I bought a ford truck yesterday, and niether the speedometer ar odometer works. Is there a fuse for them? If not how would I fix this problem?

Ok this may sound strange but does the cruise work? Get back to me with that then we will go from there.

It does'nt have a cruise control. It's a 5 speed.

Ok because it is s 5spd does not mean it don't have have cruise my 5 Speed Mustang has cruise as does me A/T F-150 so that is irrelivent. So you do not have any cruise button's on the steering wheel? If not then we need to test the VSS sensor on the top of the the rear diff. Does the numbers for the odometer show at all? Get back to me.

Yes he numbers on the odometer show. It's not digital. And no, there's no cruise control buttons odr swithes. Thanks for helping me though.

Ok so I need to know weather or not you have a speedometer cable on your truck? My 95 F-150 has no cable. The tests are different if you do as to if you do not. Get back to me with that and we go to the proper test from there.
