Not sure if this falls under suspension, but whenever I turn my wheels to the left or right, I hear loud clicking and snapping sounds. I've heard that it could be ball joints or cv joints. Not sure what either of them are. Need to know which or both need to be replaced or repaired and what to know when I take car to cost or ballpark figure to have this type of repair done. I live in Palm Bch Cnty, Florida and I know that prices can be blown way out of proportion here. Would appreciate any help and/or information.

Its 4X4
if you hear the noise when driving and turning then I would say its the CV axles
if its happen when its standing still and not moving I would say its the ball joint squeaking
