1998 Ford F-150 Steering Wheel Bearings

I am thinking about buying used truck from someone in my town, but apparently on this truck, the owner said the "steering wheel bearing is getting bad", I am wondering, is this a big job to fix? And would it be costly?

He was probably referring to the front wheel bearings which arent very hard to replace and should not be very expensive to have done even cheaper if done yourself.
However if you dont have much mechanical experiance id suggest letting a shop do it
