When I try to turn my truck on I turn the key but the truck won't start. You can hear the fuel pump noise and all the lights work so I thought it was the starter, but when I jumped the starter solenoid it started but wouldn't shift into gear. So I changed the ignition lock but it's still doing the same thing. Any ideas would help, it's stuck in a parking lot right now. THANKS!

To get it home put vehicle in neutral theres a release spot right before the ignition turns on and you should be able to get it in neutral. From there jump the starter adn get it home. From there we can go over whats causing it
