Whenever I get in and out of the truck, I hear a squeak from underneath. Or if I push it up and down. What could this be? Also sometimes when I put my vehicle in drive, nothing happens for a few seconds. What is this?

The squeck I suspect is the age of the vehicle and the rubber mounting bushings etc. Under the truck.

The transmission problem, take a look at the tranny fluid level, make sure it is not over full and yet full. If it has been a long time, have the tranny fluid and filter changed.
