HI...two questions here....I got my vehicle back from the shop and the transfer case had to be replaced as well as the 4 wheel drive acuator (??)...

1. Now when I turn the wheel to the right to make a turn say from stopped position it makes a terrible grinding noise.....

2. Also my 4 wheel drive high and 4 wheel drive low signals light up (flash) randomly even when the car is just in auto....any suggestions as to what is going on here? and if it is related to the transfer case repair? Ive heard it may be a swaybar issue?

I have the same problem with mine in terms of the turning. The fenders are probably your problem also. I have the regulation tires but anytime I turn sharply, from a stop, it will grind down on the rim of the fender. i thought it was something wrong with my steering column but I had a friend of mine watch me back up and the tires drag on the rim of the fender. Terrible design flaw but something worth checking out.

I couldn't help you with number 2, mine is all wheel drive. Terrible on gas mileage.

Hope this helps.
