If it just started since it got hot outside, the fan clutch may be locking up to cool the engine and the fan itself will make a howling noise. Could that be where the noise is coming from?

it does seem to make the noise less at night when its cooler, but you can acutally feel it..as if it was almost a vibration. but like i said its only when you put strain on the motor and it feels like its coming from the center or underneith the vehicle. thats why i thought it might be the drive shaft or transfer case, but it could be from the front of the vehicle too im not sure..

That seems to make sense. When you hear it again, park the vehicle and open the hood with the engine running to see if that is where the noise is coming from. NOTE: It will be louder the hotter it gets and that is normal for a fan clutch.

Let me know what you find.

When the engine is hot, have a helper rev the engine in park while you listen under the hood.
