After starting the truck one day last week, it immediately began running very rough. I looked at the air filter and it was kind of dirty, so I cleaned it with compressed air for a temporary fix. I reseated the hose to the air box and tightened it well, and this improved the performance greatly at idle.
The problem is that it starts to run rough after about 5-10 minutes of driving, with massive power loss.
I then changed the air filter, took off the MAF and cleaned it, put it all back......and have the same results now. I am suspecting the MAF is bad....any thoughts?

Do you have a check engine light and was the last tune-up?

You can try and replace the MAF sensor also check the fuel pressure and for exhaust restriction test the throttle position sensor-also see below

1.Defective spark plug
2.Inadequate spark/coil,defective spark plug wire.
3.Lack of compression
4.False air leakage.
5.Faulty fuel injectors.
6.Insufficient fuel pressure.
7.Contaminated fuel.
8.EGR valve that is leaking.
9.Oxygen sensors.
10.Throttle position sensor.
11.Idle air control valve.
