2000 Ford Expedition motor shakes periodically

I am not sure what is causing it we know its not the motor mounts. It seems as though its a mis fire or bad cylinder but not sure. It was in the shop and had tps repair but no change. nothing registered on diagnostic that would pinpoint problem. please help

A dealership may be the only place that can perform the test I'll tell you about. The concern with your vehicle is most likely an ignition coil. Your vehicle has one coil for every cylinder. They mount on top of the spark plugs. They are notorious for going bad. The dealership has a computer that monitors individual cylinder contribution while the engine is running. They can identify the cylinder using this power balance test. After they identify the cylinder, they can do a stress test on the coil itself.
