1994 Ford Escort Need clutch replaced

I was recently advised by the mechanic who installed new brakes on my car that the clutch needs to be replaced. They don't handle clutch work. What sort of price should I be expecting to have the clutch replaced?

Depending on the labor rate in your area you can expect probably around $1200. But I would call around and get some prices and check there Reputation.
