1991 Ford Escort Manual

I have a 1992 ford escort, it is a 1.8 liter, I changed the fuel pump, now it will turn over but won't stay running. Could you give me a little help please.

Check the fuel pressure though its a new pump if its within specs this will tell you also about the fuel filter

Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens if it continues check the TPS and MAF sensors

Check the fuel pressure if it's within specs and also if the injectors are pulsing.
