1997 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a ford escort 1997, and when the fuel tank are in the half and you take a curve to the right the car stops and not turning on again. Is like the car is empty, no gas on it. And when you go an check it the gas is empty. We change the fuel pump and the filter but we still have a problem, its can be a fuel tank. And every half tank we have to go and filled the tank for precautions, please help. I'm from Puerto Rico, Thanks what can I do.

The tank itself has nothing to do with it. If you replaced the fuel pump, the float and rheostat should have been part of the assembly. Therefore, you either have a bad gauge or the body control module.
