I have a 2000 crown vic. 4.6. The car will start at cold, will run until I shut it off, but won't start afterwards. Checked for pulse, no signal, checked for spark, no signal, has fuel pressure 35 psi. Change crank censor, but still no start. Cools down, I go back and it fires up. I'm thinking it's a security issue. Thanks. Please help me.

Is the security light staying on when you try to start it? Also, under the hood in the power distribution box, you will find an EEC relay (electronic engine control). Find another relay with the same part number and switch it to see if it will start.

Let me know what you find.
