1997 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

headlights won't shut off have to disconnect battety. Also changed switht and turn signal assy. For high beams. On dash board blue symbol comes on for highbeams lit

Welcome to the forum. Did you check any wiring circuits? Black wire with orange tracer is voltage to lite switch, hot all time. Red wire with yellow tracer is voltage from headlite switch to dimmer, only hot with the lite switch on. Lite green wire with black tracer is voltage for high beam. Red wire with black tracer is voltage for low beam. There may be a multiwire connector under the dash, close to steering column, for circuits going to and from the steering column. You may be able to check some circuits there, using a testlite. Disable the air-bag where applicable, when working around column.
