1993 Ford Aerostar Headlights acting strange
Electrical problem
1993 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 290000 miles
I have been having problems with my Aerostars headlights. when the van is turned on there are no DRL or dims. they don't come on automatically or manually. but when I hit the high beam switch my dims come on, not the high beams, or the high beam indicator light. I have checked the fuses and they are good. Also my warning chime telling me my lights are on when I open the door is still working.
what is wrong with my vans lights?

Based on your description, I would start at the multi function switch (hibeam switch). If the warning alarm says they are on, it sounds like the switch is good.
Let me know what you find.
