I picked up a 1995 Aerostar with 103,500 miles over the weekend. It ran awesome that first day we got it, but when my wife went to start it yesterday morning she couldn't get it to start. It has awesome crank power and everything works, it just won't start. I did replace the air filter and the ignition module and checked the plugs/wires and all fuses. This is the 4th one of these we've owned, but I have never ad this problem before. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

What is missing? Spark or fuel pressure? Do you hear the fuel pump run when key is first turned on? Check for spark out of the coil and if it is good check for spark at the spark plugs. If good get a manual fuel pressure gauge to see if it is in spec

Well, amazingly tonight it just started with me doing nothing more to it than I did last night. The fuel pump does kick when the key is turned to the on position and with it now just starting out of the blue I'm thinking it's something like a loose wire or something like that. Any suggestions as to what would cause it to not start at all for 48 hours then just start out of the middle of nowhere? Thanks for your quick reply and suggestions on my first question!
