Heat wrap on Flex pipe

Is it okay to use a heat wrap on a flex pipe?

You can but it depends on your purpose. The purpose of a flex pipe is to limit any vibration from the engine and to allow the exhaust to be positioned easier.

Basically all heat wrap is for is to keep the heat from the exhaust inside the exhaust and try to lower the temperature in the engine or keep surrounding component from getting hotter.

Again, you are not going to hurt anything but you may notice the engine is slightly louder as the vibrations are not as dampened. I doubt you would even notice this but other then that you should not see much difference.
