Oil spilled all over the engine after the oil cap was left off on the car listed above Note. And now it's losing power when driven.

Originally when I put on the scanner, I had codes of: P0447, P0643, P0102 and P0340. I replaced the air filter and cleaned MAF sensor, which fixed P0643 and P0102.

But after driving it to test it I noticed car losing power again. Put it back on the scanner and now I have codes P0447, P0340, P1078 and P2135.

Took one cam sensor out and noticed it was a bit fried, so I replaced it, but I am still getting the same error codes.

Is there an electrical connector not connected? Or I think the system was turned on with the sensor disconnected during the job, I would try clearing the codes to see what happens, and make sure everything was plugged back in.

P0447 - Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Open:

P0643 - Sensor Reference Voltage "A" Circuit High:

P0102 - Mass or Volume Air Flow "A" Circuit Low:

P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction:

It sounds like you may have had a voltage surge which took out the PCM which happens, you can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay.

Here is how to change the PCM out in case you need it. Also, I have seen the IPDM cause this issue as well, but to confirm the issue with the IPDM you will need to use a CAN scanner, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
