I have a Nissan Versa Hatchback 2007,

Yesterday went out to dinner with some friends, Driving on an overpass, my car locked at 60, when I put my foot all the way down on the accelerator it didnt do anything, when I removed my foot from the gas the car gave 2 hard jerks. I Immediately pulled over turned off the car and then turned it back on, and drove around the parking lot just to make sure I was ok before taking the highway home.

I had no issues on the highway going home, as I was was taking a curve, the car did the same thing again it locked this time at 50 and wouldnt allow me to accelerate, and then started dropping speed. And was almost unable to pull to the side of the road, once I was secured on the side of the road I turned off the car, and then tried to restart it again, the lights on the dash lit up and then when I tried to start the car it made a clicking noise.

From there I had to call a towing and have it towed back to my house, when I got up this morning I went to the car and tried to start it up again, when trying to start it, it made like a Vrrrr Vrrrr Noise and then went back to clicking.

Everyone keeps giving me different issues, My dad thinks it could be Either the Battery or the Alternator
Fiancee thinks it would be the starter
Uncle thinks it could be the Stater Sensor.

Just looked for other peoples feedback, and see what it could possibly be before taking it to the dealers On Monday Since everything is closed for the weekend

Start out by having the battery charged and tested. Once you have a KNOWN GOOD battery, then have the charging system tested.

So the battery was changed, I was able to drive around for 2 days without any problems this morning I turn the corner to my work, and the car locks up at 20 km/ under 2000 Rpm. I put it in park and rev it up little and put it back on drive and still doesn't do anything, and then the ABS light , lights up on the dash, I finally park the car and turn it off, and still wont start everything on the dash lights up, and does the click click sound when I try to start the car.

This is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?>

So, you never had the charging system tested after changing the battery as advised?
