So I have almost completely wired up my electric fan kit except the wire to the fan and the wire that goes to ignition which I believe is only there for the sole purpose of telling it to turn on. I have hooked this wire to my secondary fuse box that only gets power. Once the key has been turned to the on position but for it to get power it needs a fuse plugged in, but I would have no idea what amperage fuse to use. Here is a picture of the wiring diagram the circuit breaker I believe is a 35 amp. Thanks for any offered help. The brown wire to pin 86 is the one I need help with on fuse size.

Good morning,

Can you post a better shot of the diagram? The flash made it so it is difficult to read.

It depends on the size of the wire as to the fuse amount. Do you have the spec sheet for the fan assembly?

Here's a better picture of the paper and also a picture of the brown wire to ignition. All I know about the fan is the sticker on the front that says 12 volts 80 watts.

All the paper states is brown wire to pin 86 and that it needs to go to ignition or a fan switch.

Okay, thank you.

The 80 watts is the key. That is figured out by multiplying the voltage times the current.

Based on that, you would be looking at a 10 amp fuse for that circuit.

Correct. That is the control side of the relay for the operation of the fan.
